What\'s more, we continuously benchmark and improve our processes to provide the highest quality products possible. Here\'s a look at our processing capabilities.

• Cutting-to-length allows us to meet specific or discrete length requirements.
• Pickling removes the oxide that forms during the hot rolling process.
• Cold-rolling allows us to change the structure and shape of steel through rolling it and applying pressure at a low temperature. This process creates a permanent increase in steel\'s strength and hardness.
• Dry-lubricating eliminates lubrication oil from the manufacturing process and provides customers with steel that requires no additional lubrication or solvents. The process is harmless to machinery, workers and the environment.
• Configured blanking creates a specific part by putting a flat piece of steel through a die; or by shearing.
• Edging dresses metal strip edges by rolling, filing, or drawing.
• Hot-dipped galvanizing allows coating to be put directly on a hot roll of steel, resulting in a more economical product.
• Hydrogen annealing improves the machinability, facilitation of cold-work, mechanical or electrical properties, or stability of dimensions through a thermal treatment.
• Slitting uses rotary knives to cut steel to width.
• Tension leveling stretches sheet steel in coil form beyond its yield point to provide a sheet with superior flatness.
